Gone with the Wind is an acrylic on woodpanel painting that is part of my Life's Journey series. This series of paintings explore fundamental processes or heightened, dramatic or significant moments in our life's journey. In this painting I have used sailing as a metaphor of the challenge in our lives to navigate both favourable and unfavourable winds, balancing our desire to have goals and ambitions with the excitement of allowing ourselves 'to go with the flow' and let nature / the universe / the weather take us on a journey full of surprise to destinies unforeseen.
